The collection of Ottoman Theatrical Posters belongs to the Research Institute for Languages and Cultures of Asia and Africa(ILCAA), Tokyo University of Foreign Studies (TUFS). These theatrical posters were printed during the last half of the 19th and beginning of the 20th centuries in Istanbul. The term ‘Ottoman theatrical posters’ includes the fliers, posters, programmes and various other theatrical materials that were published.
