IFG & BU Collaboration : Deniz Pelek’s PHD Dissertation has been rewarded by THE Bogazici University

The collaboration between ATA Institute of Boğaziçi University and
Institut Français de Géopolitique (IFG) of Paris 8 University brought a reward.

Deniz Pelek’s dissertation “Migrant Workers in Turkish Agriculture: Patterns of Mobility and Dispossession (1990-2018)” awarded the Boğaziçi University BAP (Scientific Research Projects) Dissertation Award. Deniz Pelek had completed her PhD thesis both at Paris-8 University Institut Français de Géopolitique and at Boğaziçi University ATA Institute under the co-supervision of Prof. Nora Şeni, Prof. Şevket Pamuk and Assoc. Prof. Umut Türem.

The award was presented by Prof. Asım Karaömerlioğlu, Director of ATA Institute and Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ayşın Ertüzün at the 153rd Graduation Ceremony of Boğaziçi University on August 18, 2020.
